Digital Subscriber Line, or DSL, is available only to Kingdom Telephone Company customers. It allows high speed Internet access over existing phone lines. DSL sends data differently than standard dial up or "voice" connections so you are able to talk on the phone and surf the Internet at the same time.

Filters are required on every phone sharing a line with DSL. This includes phones, fax machine, answering machine, satellite receiver, etc. Three filters are included in the activation fee. Additional filters are available for $3.95 each.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do all customers qualify for DSL service?
If your phone service is through Kingdom Telephone Company, congratulations, you qualify for DSL!

I already have Internet access. If I order DSL will I have to change my email address?
If you already have dial-up Internet access with us, you'll be able to keep your current email address and use it with your DSL connection.

How does DSL work on my existing phone line?
DSL can be compared to a feature added to your existing phone line. The DSL splitter handles voice calls and routes the data to your computer simultaneously.

What about my dial-up account?
A dial-up account is not included in the DSL package. Customers requiring modem access must subscribe to a dial up plan.

What about my personal web space?
Each BroadTrack account includes 5 MB of personal web space. Contact webmaster@ktis.net for setup.
