Company History
Kingdom Telephone Company is a cooperative serving seven exchanges in Callaway and
Montgomery counties with divisions that offer long distance products and Internet
services. The company was formed in 1954 and incorporated in January 1955. The
main office is located at 211 S. Main Street in Auxvasse, Missouri.
In 1955, Kingdom Telephone Co. served 560 customers with 158 miles of aerial plant
and 14 employees. It had projected annual revenues of $170,000. Today Kingdom
serves 5,572 access lines with 1,644 miles of buried copper cable, 196 miles of
buried fiber optic cable, six digital offices, two digital remotes and 51 digital
loop carriers.

As a customer-owned cooperative, Kingdom Telephone Company paid $665,000 in
capital credits during 2007, increasing total capital credits paid to shareholders
or their estates to more that $10,700,000.00.
Kingdom Telephone Co. utilizes digital switches and fiber optic cable to provide
state of the art communications, including caller identification, call waiting
and other features.
